ZAGET Reviews

UNI continues to be the cinderella of the Washington, D.C. sushi scene, a favorite among the locals, but has not been invited to the grand ball. It is a shame that the talent of sushi chef and owner James Tan has not received the recognition deserved. At the same time the small intimacy of the place is a strong appeal to those who continue to come back because the quality of the sashimi and sushi is outstanding. Patrons are advised to get on Tan’s email list as he alerts his loyal clientele about seasonal specialties.

I’ve been to several sushi joints around DC metro and this is by far the best. Always delicious and never too crowded. I highly recommend it.
